Khaberni - 9 people were injured on Saturday evening following a fight between an Imam and a Muezzin in the city of Jerash.
Eyewitnesses said that a dispute occurred between the Imam and the mosque servant (the Muezzin), which escalated into a fight, then several people intervened which resulted in 9 people being injured.
The injured were transported to the Jerash Government Hospital for treatment.
Jerash Hospital witnessed cautious security presence to prevent the recurrence of the fight.
