Khaberni - French President Emmanuel Macron will welcome his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris on Monday, according to the Elysée announcement on Saturday, noting that a delegation of Ukrainian negotiators has traveled to the United States to discuss the American plan aimed at ending the war with Russia.
The French presidency stated: "The presidents will discuss the situation and the conditions for a fair and lasting peace, within the context of ongoing negotiations in Geneva, the American plan, and close consultation with our European partners. They will also discuss the actions taken regarding security guarantees within the framework of the coalition of the willing."
Kyiv was subjected to a new drone attack late Friday to Saturday, hours after Zelensky dismissed his chief of staff Andriy Yermak following a corruption investigation.
