Khaberni - The government launched on Saturday the Umrah City project, which represents a new model in urban development and long-term population growth management, and adheres to sustainability and modernity standards, opening promising investment and economic opportunities. It is the core for a future exemplary city aimed at the youth and the next generation, with precise organization and planning, its development stages will spread out over 25 years and across governments.
10% of the lands in the Umrah city project will be allocated for the benefit of the Jordanian Armed Forces, and the Armed Forces will contribute a part in the development work and in preparing the infrastructure through the Engineering Corps.
