Khaberni - Local Administration Minister Walid Al-Masri confirmed that the new city, which is under planning, will not be a replacement for the capital Amman, but will support it in terms of development and urban aspects.
Al-Masri's statements came during a dialogue session with journalists held at the Prime Minister's office, where he clarified that the project is not just an administrative city as rumored, but is a comprehensive urban development project aimed at supporting the overall development system in the kingdom.
The minister pointed out that the new city will be implemented within a long-term planning vision that takes into account the needs for population growth and service expansion, emphasizing the importance of not treating the project as an alternative to Amman, but as a supportive tributary to it.
