His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal, President of the Jordanian Electronic Sports Federation, crowned the winners yesterday, Friday, in the competitions of the first edition of the "Zain e-sports" championship for universities, which was held at the Jordanian Federation of Electronic Sports in the King Hussein Business Park in the capital Amman.

The championship title was deservedly earned by Al-Ahliyya Amman University player, student Lydia Al-'Afeshat, who won first place for female students.

The championship saw the participation of 1500 players from 10 Jordanian public and private universities..

The championship began two weeks ago with the preliminary rounds held at 8 universities, qualifying 10 female players and 10 male players for the final day in the game EA SPORTS FC 26.

The results of the championship are as follows::

  1. Female category:

First Place: Lydia Al-'Afeshat / Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Second Place: Rowand Abu Hasna / Applied Science University

Third Place: Jana Al-Seif / Petra University

  1. Male category:

First Place: Rakan Qubiwi / German Jordanian University

Second Place: Mu'tasim Al-Haj / Applied Science University

Third Place: Hamza Al-Sarayrah / The University of Jordan

  1. It is noteworthy that Al-Ahliyya Amman University student Ali Shibli had presented at the closing ceremony of the championship.
