Firstly, we agree on women working, especially in certain sectors such as education and health where women's presence is important, among other sectors suitable for women,,
Nor do we underestimate women's rights and dignity, but on the contrary,,
Jordanians have always been known for their chivalry and their zeal for the dignity of their women and daughters
But today, with changes in policies and ideas, we see that women have started to compete with men in almost all sectors if not all
And here lies the real problem..!!
A working woman will not accept an unemployed man
But when a man finds a job and stabilizes financially, his first thought is marriage and settling down and building a family, and most of them are not looking for a working woman because they believe "Women Were Not Created to Suffer"
Even on the psychological level, a wife cannot bear the burdens of work, hardship, home, husband, and children; her household and family responsibilities are enough, honored and respected in her home, and all her needs are met based on capability..
Here, the real role of both spouses emerges..
Proposing polygamy to solve this issue, away from addressing other causes, cannot achieve the goal but may lead to more family disintegration under these conditions and changes..
Even for a financially capable man, that alone is not enough for polygamy
Psychological readiness and family and emotional stability are the most important factors for these propositions,,,
Therefore, from a standpoint of responsibility, away from emotional and biased diagnosis and illogical opinions
The work of young men is more crucial than that of women in most sectors, which achieves societal and family stability and conserves women's dignity,,,
The second and most important reason is Jordanian personal status law and the lack of application of true religious justice
And the flaws in most of the law’s articles, granting girls the right to ask for separation for trivial reasons and taking men's money even before marriage...!!
The young man who worked and strived for years with the aim of marriage, stability, and starting a family, by a girl's decision, sees all his dreams collapse and all his savings vanish,,
And here I'm not talking about fictional stories but real ones that have become common in society, and many people are suffering from them
This issue is very serious and has given many women the incentive to take men's money under the pretext of (rights)
Here, the girl is not to blame because the real flaw is in the law, which granted her this authority, mistakenly thinking by the legislators that such laws contradicting divine legislation could achieve public interest and family and societal stability and protect women's rights, but unfortunately, the situation was the opposite and negative and the first to suffer from it was the woman,,
This in particular was the main cause of the increased rate of divorce and family disintegration, and there are official statistics and shocking numbers about that,,
These are the most important causes that led to the increase in the rate of spinsterhood and its accumulation and the anxiety and fear among young men approaching marriage, and their situation says "We have grown old" while we search for a job, stability, and marriage,,
Some of them preferred bachelorhood or marrying foreigners for fear of falling victim to these laws and sudden changes that do not match the nature of our society and our genuine customs and values..
And the result: unemployment,, reluctance to marry,, spinsterhood,, crimes and social and family problems with no end,,
