Khaberni - A young man was killed on his wedding night, early Friday, in a battle against the Israeli occupation forces during their raid on Beit Jinn town, in rural Damascus, Southern Syria.

The Israeli army infiltrated the town, located about 10 kilometers from the occupied Syrian Golan, before the locals confronted them in a battle that resulted in 13 deaths among the town residents, including women and children.

Twitter users and Syrian media mourned the young man, named Hassan Al-Saadi, after he was killed in the battle against the Israeli forces hours before his wedding.

After penetrating Beit Jinn, the Israeli forces found themselves inside an ambush prepared by the town's youth, leading to fierce clashes that resulted in 6 Israeli wounded, some in critical condition, according to Israeli sources.

Al-Saadi, who was born in Beit Jinn in 1999, was preparing for his wedding which was scheduled for yesterday, before the Israeli attack turned it into a funeral.

The "martyr groom" had previously worked as a shepherd before volunteering in internal security.

Although this attack on "Beit Jinn" is not the first of its kind by the Israeli forces in the region, it is the first that witnessed fighting and injuries among the ranks of the occupation army.
