Khaberni - Egyptian security investigations revealed horrifying details in the crime of killing a child in the city of Ismailia by his 13-year-old peer, after it was proven that the accused misled his siblings and told his father about the crime, who refused to help him. Meanwhile, the accused continued to dispose of body parts and try to conceal the traces of his crime.
The confessions of the accused "Yousef" state that after committing the crime, he began to cut up his peer "Mohammed" using an electric saw, only to be surprised by his siblings knocking on the bathroom door while he was wrapping the parts. He explained that he hid the upper part of the body and the head under his sister's bed, while he locked the remainder in the bathroom, then asked his siblings to stay in the TV room so he could conceal what he had done.
He added that he disposed of some parts in bags outside the home, and when he returned he was surprised by his father and siblings at home, claiming that the emanating smell was from a slaughtered animal he had skinned, before concocting another story for his father when he saw part of the body, saying that a fight had occurred between him and another child that led to the latter’s death and dismembering the body to dispose of it.
He explained that his father left the house the next morning with his siblings after telling him: "Finish your disaster on your own."
The accused continued, stating that he tried the next day to dispose of the last remaining part of the body but found it too heavy, so he returned home and cut it into two halves, then transported them to the same place where he disposed of the limbs near the shopping mall.
A report by the General Administration of Technical Assistance at the Ministry of Interior revealed that the accused had been found in conversations through the artificial intelligence application "ChatGPT," asking about how to execute a premeditated murder meticulously without leaving traces, how to dispose of DNA, and how to escape police pursuit.
Photos related to the crime were also found, including the victim's blood-stained glasses and pictures of injuries on the accused's hand.
Phone contents also displayed extensive searches about the foreign series "DEXTER," as well as the accused's entry into the Amazon store to buy the complete series. The phone also contained deleted audio clips via "WhatsApp" showing his request from his father for first aid tools to wash away blood traces and eliminate smell, and messages via "Instagram" wherein he confirmed to some friends that he committed the crime under the influence of the series.
On their part, a lawyer for the victim's family confirmed that they would request in the first session of the trial a forensic assessment to determine the real age of the accused, suggesting a discrepancy between his declared age and his physical build and the nature of the crime.
The Ismailia Juvenile Criminal Court is scheduled to hold the first trial session of the accused on Tuesday, December 2nd.
