Khaberni - In spot transactions today, Friday, silver recorded its highest level ever, reaching $55.59 per ounce, while in futures contracts for delivery in March 2026, it recorded $56.12 per ounce.
The precious metal had risen by 3 percent in its last trading, and the futures contracts related to silver reached a record level, according to the (CNBC) network.
Silver in spot transactions has risen by 90 percent since the beginning of the year, supported by investors' shift towards low-risk assets amid varying economic data and changing expectations of U.S. monetary policy.
In spot transactions, silver has outperformed gold, which jumped by 60 percent over the course of the year.
