Khaberni - The University of Applied Sciences marked its first entry into the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, thereby becoming the first private university to be included in the three prestigious and globally renowned rankings (QS, THE and Shanghai).

According to the results of the Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects for the year 2025, the university achieved its first entry and topped the Jordanian universities in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a rank of 401-500 and in Artificial Intelligence with a rank of 301-400 globally. This achievement further enhances what the university accomplished in the Times Ranking of Academic Subjects for 2025, where the university also ranked first among all Jordanian universities in general engineering fields, specifically in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, ranking 401-500.

These results affirm the academic stature of the private University of Applied Sciences, which continues to solidify its international presence through influential research output and high-quality global partnerships, alongside continual investment in academic staff and research infrastructure. This progress in three of the most important global rankings reflects the university’s vision to be a regional hub for excellence, a globally competitive educational institution, and to deliver educational and research outcomes that keep pace with scientific development and contribute to shaping the future.
