Khaberni - Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Onju Kıçalı stated that the Israeli attacks on Syria aim to obstruct the efforts of the government and the people to establish security and constitute a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
The spokesman of the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, "As we approach the annual December 8th anniversary, the anniversary of the Syrian people gaining their freedom, and at a time when the international community is united around its desire for stability in Syria, Israel has once again shown its destructive approach by bombing the town of Beit Jinn, a suburb of Damascus."
He added: "Despite the absence of threats from Syria, the Israeli military actions violate its sovereignty and territorial integrity, endanger civilians, and undermine regional stability."
He emphasized the need to stop the Israeli attacks that aim to obstruct the efforts of the Syrian government and people to ensure security, prosperity, and public peace, asserting that the international community bears a responsibility in this regard.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the "criminal assault" carried out by an Israeli army patrol through its incursion into the territory of the town of Beit Jinn in the countryside of Damascus and its attack on the residents and their properties.
The Israeli incursion into the Syrian town of Beit Jinn also provoked widespread condemnation, after it resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians and injured 25 others, including women and children, in addition to a massive displacement of residents.
