Khaberni - Tens of thousands of worshippers performed Friday prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque - the Noble Sanctuary, where they gathered from the early morning hours amid the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on access to Al-Aqsa.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli occupation forces were deployed among the worshippers during the Friday sermon, at the Iron, Council, and Column gates, tightened the siege at the gates of Al-Aqsa, detained young men, searched them, inspected their ID cards, and prevented some from reaching the mosque to pray.
