Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Friday, strongly condemned the incursion of the Israeli forces and their bombing of the town of Beit Jinn in the countryside of Damascus and their blatant attack on the townspeople, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of Syrians, considering it a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, a blatant breach of international law, and a dangerous provocative escalation that will only contribute to further conflict and tension in the region.
The official spokesman of the ministry, Fouad Al-Majali, affirmed the Kingdom's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of this blatant Israeli aggression, which is a clear violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state, and a direct targeting of its citizens' lives, emphasizing the necessity to stop all Israeli aggressions and actions on Syrian territories, which constitute a violation of the United Nations Charter and Israel's obligations under the 1974 disengagement agreement.
Al-Majali renewed the Kingdom's support and full solidarity with Syria, its security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its citizens, calling on the international community to take legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to stop its illegitimate provocative aggressions on Syria, end the occupation of part of its territories, and ensure it complies with the rules of international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy, sovereignty of states, and non-intervention in their affairs.
Al-Majali expressed his sincerest condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic and the families of the victims, wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
