Khaberni - The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced today, Friday, the imposition of temporary restrictions on air traffic at Nalchik Airport and several international airports in southern Russia, as part of measures aimed at enhancing the level of aerial protection and managing traffic control during sensitive operational conditions.
The agency explained in a press statement that the restrictions will remain in place until the completion of technical assessments regarding the safety of air routes, noting that essential flights will be managed through a precise navigational system to minimize the impact on travelers. It also confirmed the ongoing coordination with airlines to ensure minimal disruption in air movement.
