Khaberni - On Friday, the government communication minister and government spokesperson, Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani, recalled the annual commemoration of the martyrdom of the former Prime Minister Wasfi Al-Tal, affirming that the meanings of sacrifice are deeply rooted in the Jordanian conscience.
Al-Momani said in a post on his "X" platform account: "The anniversary of the martyrdom of Prime Minister Wasfi Al-Tal, which occurs on Friday, tells us that the Jordanian lexicon will remain rich with the vocabulary of martyrdom, and that the titles of sacrifice and redemption will always be present in the homes of Jordanians."
The minister linked these sacrifices to the firmness of the kingdom's political stance, adding: "We have offered pure blood for the steadiness and firmness of our positions."
Al-Momani concluded his post by connecting the nation's martyrs with its historic leadership, saying: "The pure Jordanian blood, led by the blood of the late founding King Abdullah I, will remain a beacon of fire and light for Jordan and Palestine."
