Khaberni - "Google" announced a major update to its Google Flow tool designed for creating AI-powered cinematic video clips, by adding new capabilities that make video production easier and more professional, even if you start with a hand-drawn idea.
The new update integrates the Nanobanana Pro image generation model, alongside an enhanced version of the Veo 3.1 video model, providing users with higher realism and finer control over visual elements, according to a report by "digitaltrends."
Four new capabilities that change the way videos are made:
Generating professional images with Nanobanana Pro: You can create characters and scenes, and adjust lighting, colors, and camera angles before converting them into a video.
Reliance on "scribbling" rather than texts: Simply drawing lines or simple shapes over the image allows Flow to transform these drawings into instructions applied within the final video.
Adding or removing elements from the scene: It is now possible to introduce new objects or delete them without affecting the background or overall motion, with the removal feature coming next month in a trial version.
Adjusting the camera angle after producing the video: It is possible to correct camera movement or angles after creating the clip, especially in static scenes.
The new developments make Google Flow closer to a complete cinematic production platform inside the browser, without the need for filming equipment, professional editing software, or a production team.
You can create ready cinematic clips with sound and effects directly through Flow.
You no longer need to use standalone editing programs for modification or removal of elements, as the tool now does that automatically.
Whether you are a content creator, a director trying out new ideas, or just someone interested in storytelling, this upgrade gives you capabilities that were previously only available to professional production teams.
