Khaberni - The Grand Criminal Court issued a death sentence by hanging until death today against the accused A. Al-Hourani and M. Al-Bakri, after convicting them of the murder of the young man Iyad Khaled Samara Al-Zoubi from Al-Ramtha, in a crime that occupied the Jordanian street for months.
According to the case details, the accused lured the victim to an Arab country, killed him with poison, left him in a remote location, while they concealed the crime details and continued their lives normally after returning to Jordan, which complicated the task of uncovering the circumstances of the disappearance initially.
The young man Iyad remained missing for several months until the security forces, after extensive investigations and precise tracking, managed to solve the mystery of the disappearance and arrested the perpetrators, which was later referred to the judiciary.
The verdict issued today is considered by the people of Al-Ramtha an important step in achieving justice and vindicating the victim's family, confirming their trust in the judiciary and its ability to handle firmly crimes that threaten community peace.
The decision awaits the completion of the necessary legal procedures to become final and enforceable.
