Khaberni - Under royal directives, Youssef Hassan Al-Issawi, the head of the Hashemite Royal Court, visited on Wednesday the injured members of the security forces who are receiving treatment at the Royal Medical Services following a security raid that took place in the Ramtha district on Tuesday evening.
During the visit, Al-Issawi conveyed to the injured the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, and their great pride in the courage and sacrifice they have shown in performing their national duty, hoping for their swift recovery and return to their families and the resumption of their duties.
Al-Issawi reassured himself about the health condition of the injured, listening to a briefing by the director of the Royal Medical Services, Brigadier General Suhail Al-Hamar, on their condition, who explained that their health status is stable and good, and that they are receiving the necessary medical care.
Al-Issawi confirmed, during the visit and in the presence of Brigadier General Raad Al-Amaireh, director of His Majesty's Special Military Office, that the sacrifices of the Armed Forces - the Arab Army and security agencies are always appreciated and a source of pride for the Hashemite leadership and the Jordanian people.
Al-Issawi praised the spirit of commitment and heroism embodied by the nation's sons in protecting its security and stability.
The injured expressed their deep appreciation for the concern shown by His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their health, affirming that the Hashemite leadership's care for them reflects the status of the members of the Armed Forces and security agencies with His Majesty.
They noted that this support gives them high morale and enhances their determination to continue to exert every effort for the security and stability of the nation and the protection of its citizens.
They also confirmed that their injuries incurred while performing duty represent a badge of honor they are proud of, emphasizing that they will continue to perform their mission and duty with all manhood and honor, and that what they have suffered strengthens them and their belief in their role in defending the nation and standing behind His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and his wise leadership.
The Public Security Directorate explained in a statement yesterday that a special security force raided on Tuesday evening a location in the Ramtha district that was sheltering two wanted brothers involved in takfiri ideology following important investigative matters.
It mentioned that as soon as the security force arrived at the location, the wanted individuals opened fire on them heavily, resulting in injuries to members of the raiding force who were taken to the hospital for treatment.
It confirmed that rules of engagement were followed, and the fugitives, who had fortified themselves at the location and used their mother inside as a human shield to prevent targeting, were neutralized, and the security force managed to secure and remove their mother without causing any harm to her.
And the Public Security Directorate added that the location where the wanted were fortified was searched, and a collection of firearms and ammunition was seized.
