Khaberni - The Food and Drug Administration clarified regarding what is being circulated about the agency's plan to launch an application for purchasing medications at a preferential price from pharmacies.
The institution clarified on Wednesday, that following the adoption of the Patient Access Program guidelines for the year 2020, which are published on the official website of the institution, the institution aims to expand the scope of the Patient Access Program to include the largest possible number of medications, including those for chronic diseases and cancer medications, in an effort to ensure treatment is fairly accessible to patients.
The institution added that next year, a program will be launched to ensure the optimal implementation of the Patient Access Program and its benefits.
