Khaberni - 11-2025 07:26 PM

Ammon - The rainfall totals during the last weather condition that affected the kingdom contributed to enhancing the current rainy season, with percentages ranging between 1% and 6% from the general seasonal average in several regions.

According to data from the Meteorological Department, the Salt station recorded the highest rainfall total during the condition at 15.6 mm, which is 3% of its seasonal average, followed by the Baqoura station with 15 mm at 4%, then the Ramtha station with 13.5 mm at 6%.

In the capital, Amman, the Gardens of Hussein station recorded 8 mm, which is 2% of its seasonal average, while the Tafila station in the south of the kingdom recorded 5.4 mm at 3% of its seasonal average.

In turn, the director of meteorology, Raed Al Khattab, explained that "the precipitations accompanying the condition had a positive impact on the rainy season, especially in the northern regions which are now around their supposed general averages for this time of the year," confirming the continuous monitoring of the season's performance by the Meteorological Department, and that such conditions – though random – effectively contribute to enhancing the precipitation balance.

Al Khattab added that the rainy season is still below its usual averages in parts of central and southern the kingdom, expressing hope for more rainy conditions in the upcoming period to improve the overall situation.

He called on citizens to always adhere to the warnings issued by the Meteorological Department, especially to keep away from valleys and streams during weather conditions.
