Khaberni - The Military Credit Fund and the Middle East Payment Services (MEPS) company signed, on Wednesday, an agreement to issue prepaid bank cards specific to the fund which will be provided to conscripts.

The agreement, signed by the director general of the Military Credit Fund, Yazeed Al-Khalidi, and the CEO of MEPS, Ali Abdul Jabbar, aims to issue prepaid bank cards, which will be provided to the conscripts for transferring their salaries through them and facilitating their financial transactions during their service period.

The director general of the Military Credit Fund said, "We value this partnership with the Middle East Payment Services (MEPS) which will facilitate for the conscripts in receiving their salaries through it, and enhance the service level for the current clients of the fund by providing prepaid cards to meet their various financial needs," praising the role of the Financial Division in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, for its trust in the fund to handle the financial services tasks for the conscripts.

He confirmed the continuation of the fund in various update and development operations by building such strategic partnerships to implement the latest technologies in banking services provided to military personnel and retirees.

On his part, the CEO of the company confirmed that this step comes to reinforce MEPS's vision in expanding financial inclusion, generating a sustainable economic impact that supports the national economy, and contributes to enhancing the financial stability of citizens through a smooth and fast financial experience within the highest levels of security and trust in payment operations, while offering innovative financial solutions that meet the needs of the era.
