Khaberni - Deputies commended the high-quality operation conducted by the security forces in Ramtha, which led to dealing with wanted individuals involved in extremist ideologies and implicated in serious cases.
In separate statements on Wednesday, they emphasized that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership and with its strong constitutional institutions, will not be an open field for extremism nor a pathway for projects targeting internal stability or attempting to undermine the state's solidity.
They also affirmed that Jordan will not allow its territory to be a stage for any foreign agendas or attempts to drag it into chaos, clarifying that the operation revealed the vigilance of the security apparatus and their ability to thwart serious plans before they could materialize into an actual threat.
The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Khamis Atiyah, stated that this operation reflects the readiness in protecting Jordan’s security and stability, adding that what was planned by those individuals and their act of shooting represents a blatant assault on the state sovereignty and national security, which will not be overlooked or tolerated.
He confirmed that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership and with its strong constitutional institutions, will not be an open field for extremism nor a pathway for projects targeting internal stability or attempting to undermine the state's solidity; and it will not allow its territory to be a stage for any foreign agendas or attempts to drag it into chaos.
Attiyah emphasized that the security operation in Ramtha revealed the alertness of the security forces and their ability to thwart dangerous plans before they could translate into an actual threat, calling for support of the security services.
He mentioned that the popular support around the state and the Hashemite throne is the foundation of Jordan's strength, and any attempt to destabilize this balance is doomed to fail, adding that protecting Jordan today is not only a security responsibility but also a political and national stance that requires awareness and full alignment with the state and its institutions.
Attiyah confirmed that the security of the kingdom is a red line that is not up for negotiation, explaining that Jordan will remain stronger than any threat, and that the state will continue to be the guarantor of the security and stability of all Jordanians, no matter how circumstances change or challenges multiply.
In turn, the Azm parliamentary bloc stated that the operation reflects a high level of vigilance and proactive ability in facing threats that target Jordan's security and stability, adding that the security forces' handling of the wanted individuals affiliated with extremist ideology showed a high level of professionalism and discipline.
They clarified that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership and strong security institutions, is capable of thwarting any attempts to spread chaos or create lawless hotspots, asserting that the state does not tolerate extremist ideologies, and those who tamper with national security will face strict law enforcement.
The bloc continued, stating that the operation once again proved that the security forces operate with both professional and humane doctrines, adhering to engagement rules and preserving civilian lives despite the situation's danger, reflecting their respect for the sanctity of homes and the dignity of the residents, while decisively dealing with threats.
For its part, the Mi'thaq parliamentary bloc emphasized that Jordan will remain impervious to any attempts that threaten its security and stability, noting that Jordan will not be a field for any extremist terrorist ideology or agenda aiming to disrupt its peace and safety.
They underscored that Jordan will remain stronger than any threat that affects its security, and that stability will persist regardless of changing circumstances, affirming that there is no room for compromising the security of the homeland.
