Khaberni - Khaled Al-Ziyoud, head of the General Union of Petroleum and Chemicals Workers in Jordan, praised the qualitative operation carried out by a special security force in the Ramtha district on Tuesday evening, which resulted in the elimination of two brothers wanted for embracing extremist ideologies, and the seizure of weapons and equipment at the site where they were fortified.
Al-Ziyoud confirmed that what the security forces have done embodies the level of professionalism and competence they possess, noting that their sacrifices and the injury of several force members during duty highlight the magnitude of challenges they face in defending the nation's security and stability.
Al-Ziyoud wished a speedy recovery for the injured, affirming the union and workers in the petroleum and chemicals sector's continuous support behind the security forces and their persistent backing for the state's efforts in combating extremism and terrorism.
He also appreciated the responsible role played by the Jordanian media in covering the event and conveying its details accurately and objectively, considering this to enhance the national message of the media and its role in shaping public awareness.
Al-Ziyoud concluded by affirming the union's pride in the security forces that continue to protect Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and his trustworthy Crown Prince, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah.
