Khaberni - The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, in collaboration with the Crown Prince Foundation, organized a training session titled "Required Skills for the New Digital Job Market", delivered by Dr. Mai Al-Anati, Secretary Editor of The Jordan Times, and Professor Ahmad Abu Sheikhah from the Crown Prince Foundation, in the presence of Dr. Yousuf Al-Hammaydeh and several faculty members and students.

Dr. Mai Al-Anati provided an extensive presentation on the rapid digital transformations in the media sector, highlighting key skills demanded by the digital job market, such as digital content management, information verification, and the use of artificial intelligence tools in editing and journalistic production. She also shared field experiences and practices from her work at The Jordan Times, helping to introduce students to the prospects and opportunities of digital media work.

Dr. Al-Anati also emphasized the importance of developing critical thinking, research, and analysis skills among students, considering these as fundamental skills for working in a fast-changing media environment. She stressed the need for continuous learning and updating of digital skills to keep pace with the ongoing developments in the global media sector.

On his part, Professor Ahmad Abu Sheikhah discussed the active role of the Crown Prince Foundation in supporting and empowering Jordanian youth, showcasing the most important programs and pioneering initiatives that the foundation offers in the fields of technology, innovation, and digital skills. He also provided a set of practical guidelines for students on how to enhance their skills and enable them to compete in the modern job market.

This session is part of the efforts by Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan and the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center to qualify students and prepare them to effectively engage in the digital job market, in line with the rapid developments in the global knowledge-based and technological economy.
