Khaberni - The Department of Arabic Language and Literature in the Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences at Middle East University, in collaboration with the Arab Cultural House Forum, organized a poetry morning titled "Poetic Spaces".

The event was attended by the dean of the college, Dr. Ayat Al-Maghribi, the director of programs and activities at the forum, Mirna Hatqwa, several faculty members, and a group of students.

The poetry morning, presented by Dr. Jumana Al-Salem, a faculty member at the college, aimed to invigorate the literary movement within the university, revive the aesthetics and the authentic values of the Arabic language, and support young poetic talents by encouraging them to refine their creative tools.

The participating poets were Dr. Anwar Al-Sha’er, Ali Al-Faouri, and Shafiq Al-Attawna, who recited a selection of their patriotic, humanistic, and nationalistic poems.

At the end of the morning, the college honored the participating poets and the Arab Cultural House Forum in recognition of their distinctive cultural contributions. Additionally, students had the opportunity to ask questions to the poets, who provided them with important guidance on developing poetry writing skills and enhancing literary taste.
