Elham AlFadalahs First Comment After Her Release

Khaberni - After days of controversy that accompanied her arrest and investigation due to an audio recording attributed to her, Kuwaiti artist Elham Al-Fadalah returned to social media platforms, in a brief message aimed at reassuring her audience and expressing her stance on what happened.

In her first comment following her temporary release, Al-Fadalah said via her account on Snapchat: "Praise be to Allah and thanks be to Allah... Thank you to our fair judiciary", and she also sent a special thank you message to her fans saying: "Thank you, my dear audience", in appreciation of the support she received during the crisis.

Judicial Decision and Postponement
On Monday, the Criminal Court in Kuwait decided to release Al-Fadalah pending a case related to "broadcasting false news", after accepting a request from the defense team, with the case postponed to the session on the eighth of December (December) next.

During the session, the court listened to the audio recording in question, where Al-Fadalah denied the charge against her, affirming that she had not published any misleading or offensive information, and that she would present evidence of her innocence to the competent authorities.

Denial of Rumors
For her part, Al-Fadalah's lawyer, Mariam Al-Bahr, announced from inside the courthouse the release of her client and the next session’s date, while also denying the news about her suffering a heart attack, confirming her health was stable, and urged accuracy in the dissemination of information.

Meanwhile, the artist’s daughter, Al-Noor, posted an emotional message on her social media accounts, expressing her longing for her mother, which contributed to a surge of widespread sympathy for Al-Fadalah coinciding with the announcement of her temporary release.
