Khaberni - The Turkish state of Mardin was shaken by a tragic incident after a man, his wife, and their five-year-old daughter were found shot dead in the head inside their home in Kiziltepe district, according to Turkish authorities.
The story began when neighbors noticed the family's absence of news, so they called on the neighborhood head and stormed the family’s house, to find the husband (37 years old) and the wife (33 years old) and their daughter lifeless bodies inside one of the rooms.
The police were immediately informed, and ambulance and firefighting teams arrived at the scene and began examination and inspection procedures.
The medical teams confirmed that the three victims had died from direct head injuries, and the bodies were first transported to Mardin Teaching and Research Hospital, before the authorities decided to transfer them to the Diyarbakir Institute of Forensic Medicine for a detailed autopsy to uncover the crime details.
The preliminary examination showed no signs of forced entry or attempts to break the door, which added to the mystery of the incident and its motives.
A state of shock prevailed among the residents of the area, and one of the neighbors said: "We are in disbelief.. What happened is a real massacre.. We have only seen good from this family, it seems that the incident occurred after midnight, and we don't know anything else yet."
The police are still continuing their investigations to uncover the circumstances of the crime, awaiting forensic results that may unveil the details of the tragedy.
