Khaberni - Bee venom has sparked widespread interest in the field of cosmetics and skincare, after scientific studies proved its ability to stimulate the skin's self-repair mechanisms and increase the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.

The peptide "melittin," a main component of the venom, is responsible for mimicking a minor injury that urges the skin to renew itself and strengthen its structure, thus products have been introduced to enhance collagen production, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and smooth and tighten the skin for a fuller appearance.

This is supported by clinical study results lasting 28 days on 23 women, showing an overall improvement in skin condition and a reduction in wrinkle depth, while another trial extended over 12 weeks on 22 participants recorded a clear decline in wrinkle number, area, and depth.

Researchers explained that "melittin" interacts with fibroblasts and mast cells upon application to the skin, causing a "small sting" that activates microcirculation and increases the delivery of oxygen and nutrients, which encourages cells to strengthen the skin's supporting structure.

Over time, the supportive layers become thicker and more cohesive, which is reflected in the reduction of lines and sagging.

Bee venom activates several biological pathways, most notably stimulating collagen and elastin production, expanding microvessels to increase blood flow, and triggering a mild immune response that encourages the skin to repair itself without causing real inflammation. Thus, the component works to rejuvenate the skin from within rather than just improving its surface.

It should be noted that bee venom is collected in an ethical and sustainable way, using a glass pane that stimulates the bees to secrete small amounts of venom without their stingers getting stuck, preventing any harm to the insects, and the venom is dried into a pure powder that is filtered and tested to ensure consistency of peptide concentrations in each batch.

Researchers note that the results of using bee venom products gradually appear; initially, users may notice slight swelling and an immediate brightness, with improvements in firmness and texture emerging after weeks, leading to a noticeable reduction in wrinkles and greater skin tightening after two to three months of regular use.
