Khaberni - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas confirmed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the State of Palestine, and its unity with the West Bank and East Jerusalem is "an established and non-negotiable right."

Abbas emphasized in his speech on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People that all arrangements during the transition period must be in line with the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.

This speech, delivered on his behalf by the Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, comes as "our people continue to face the effects of the genocide war in the Gaza Strip and ongoing violations in the West Bank."

He pointed to the continuation of the occupation and its policies based on settlement, expansion, annexation, and settler terrorism.

In contrast, Abbas confirmed that this day occurs "at a time when we witness a growing international momentum in favor of recognizing the State of Palestine."

He noted that the Arab-Islamic efforts led by Saudi Arabia and the European Union had established "an international alliance to implement the two-state solution."
