Khaberni - Khaberni – Exclusive
Official data revealed several companies in which Khaled Musa Abu Hassan, the chair of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee, holds varying shares, some operational and some suspended.
According to Khaberni's monitoring, Khaled Abu Hassan, or Khaled Abdullah as registered in the Companies Control Register, has stakes in three operational companies: Emaar Development and Investment Real Estate, which has transformed from a public limited company to a limited liability company, alongside Salam for Audible Media.
However, the most significant investment of the Investment Committee chair in the House of Representatives, Abu Hassan, or Abdullah, is his equal share with 10 other shareholders, in Rawasi Project Management Company (one of the authorized signatories), which owns a group of companies inside Irbid City Center (in Irbid city in the north of the country), which is the largest trade market in Northern Jordan.
Rawasi, in turn, according to Khaberni's monitoring, owns Jumbo Retail Stores, the Turkish Village for Marketing and Investment, the suspended company (Turkish Market for Food Supplies), the Jordanian Company for Private Limited Share Entertainment Centers (one of its authorized signatories), Rawasi Future University, and Marseille for Real Estate Investments (one of its authorized signatories).
Abu Hassan (Abdullah) is set to chair the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee by acclamation on Monday.
