Khaberni - Real Madrid has finalized its first deal during the upcoming summer transfer period, specifically after the end of the current 2025-2026 season.
This involves the young Argentine star Nico Paz, who is currently shining with Como in Italy, whom he joined in the summer of 2024 from Real Madrid’s youth team "Castilla".
Transfer-specialized journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Real Madrid plans to retrieve its former player Nico Paz in June 2026, after reaching an agreement with the player to return to the club.
According to Romano, reports emerged months ago indicating that Real Madrid had targeted Nico Paz as its first signing for the 2026-2027 season, taking advantage of the buy-back clause in his contract.
The Italian journalist explained that the buy-back clause cannot be activated next January, while Como hopes to retain the player until the end of the next season.
Real Madrid is expected to complete the process of retrieving Nico Paz in June 2026, with the player clearly desiring a return to the "Bernabeu" stadium.
Romano mentioned that Real Madrid wants to avoid any potential issues and reach an early agreement, and that Como will receive a compensation that exceeds the release clause of 10 million euros.
It is noteworthy that Nico Paz (21 years old) has played 12 matches in the Italian League this season, contributing to 9 goals by scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists.
