Jordan Israel violates ceasefire agreement in Gaza

Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, said on Tuesday that Israel is violating the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, pointing out that it has committed 500 breaches of the agreement.

Safadi confirmed in a dialogue session within the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum that Jordan will not deploy troops in the Gaza Strip, but it will contribute to training the Palestinian police.

He pointed out that the Palestinian police should be responsible for maintaining security and stability in Gaza, stressing that Hamas must surrender its weapons.

Safadi clarified that Jordan is part of the efforts to resolve the conflict and achieve a just and comprehensive solution, asserting that "we need to look at sufficient security mechanisms that ensure security for both Palestinians and Israelis."

He mentioned that the two-state solution is the only path to a just and comprehensive peace, and that this path must pave the way for the establishment of a Palestinian state, noting that the Israelis continuously work to undermine the two-state solution.

Safadi affirmed that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, and that this solution must lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state, pointing out that Israel consistently works to undermine the two-state solution.

He added that the whole world agrees that there is no alternative to the two-state solution, emphasizing the importance of remaining united and protecting the two-state solution to achieve it.

Safadi also affirmed that peace is the only way forward towards a better future in the region, stressing the need for this future to be filled with cooperation, not conflict.

Safadi stated that the Gaza Strip must remain an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territories, and that Israel must withdraw from the strip.

He noted that settler attacks on Palestinians are daily and this drives the West Bank towards explosion, "We do not want this to happen."
