Khaberni - The police in Bonn, Germany, confirmed on Monday the death of YouTube star Jan Zimmerman, known for his channel "Gewitter im Kopf" or "Storm in the Head", after he was found dead in an apartment in Königswinter south of Bonn on November 18.

Zimmerman, "27 years old", is one of the most famous internet stars in Germany, with about two million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

Zimmerman has been famous across Germany since 2019, as he presents content in which he explains his daily life in a straightforward and entertaining way while coping with Tourette's syndrome.

Tourette's syndrome is a neuropsychiatric disorder that manifests as involuntary movements, sounds, or words that sufferers cannot fully control, and may sometimes include unintended swearing.

The German police clarified that there are no indications so far of any criminal suspicion in his death, nor any confirmed information about whether his health condition was related to his death, pending the forensic report.

At the end of 2022, Zimmerman underwent surgery to implant a brain pacemaker to reduce the severity of seizures caused by the syndrome.

Despite the treatment, the neurological disorder remained a part of his daily life.
