Khaberni - The Finance Committee in the House of Representatives will hold its first meetings on Tuesday to discuss the General Budget Law project, with the presence of representatives from the Ministries of Finance and Planning.
In a statement, the head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Deputy Nimr Al-Sleihat, said that the committee will recommend increasing the salaries of military retirees and public sector workers, as part of improving their living conditions.
Al-Sleihat added that the committee will intensify its efforts in the coming days to ensure the adoption of the General Budget Law project before the end of the year, pointing out the importance of speeding up the discussion of the budget items in a way that aligns with the needs of the citizens and the priorities of the government.
