Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, followed on Monday evening the night tactical exercise Ashbal Al-Hussein, carried out by Special Battalion/101, one of the units of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces, with the participation of His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, assistant commander of the battalion.
The exercise was supported by Royal Air Force aircraft, based on a scenario that simulates a tactical operations room for executing unconventional operations, attended by the Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti.
The exercise included various scenarios such as infiltration under parachutes, carrying out reconnaissance operations, dealing with sudden targets using reconnaissance and combat drones, combat search and rescue operations, and close air support through joint attacks using night vision devices, and employing all elements of combat and logistical support.
At the conclusion of the exercise, His Majesty adorned the Crown Prince with the Special Forces Sword Badge, after His Highness completed all the requirements to earn the badge.
