Khaberni - Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, confirmed that he feels embarrassed and ashamed of his behavior towards a photographer after the team's loss against Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday.
Guardiola was agitated after being filmed from a close distance following the final whistle during a heated discussion with Bruno Guimaraes and the match referees on the pitch, and he grabbed the camera microphone, enraged by the referee's decision to count Ashley Barnes' goal in the 70th minute, which granted Newcastle the win at St James' Park.
Guardiola said in a press conference on Monday: I apologize, and I feel embarrassed and ashamed when I see that, I did not like what happened, and I apologized to the photographer within a second.
He added: I will remain the same person even after 1000 matches. I am not a perfect person; I made a grievous mistake, but I was defending my team and the club.
