Khaberni - MP Awni Al-Zoubi criticized the government’s decision about not imposing new taxes, stating that reality contradicts what was stated by the Minister of Finance.
Al-Zoubi said: "The government, through its Minister of Finance, confirmed that there are no new taxes, yet we were surprised by the imposition of a 16% tax on postal parcels, which contradicts the official statements."
Al-Zoubi called on the government to clarify the reasons behind imposing this new tax, urging a review of tax policies to serve the interests of the citizens and enhance the confidence in official statements.
