Khaberni - The workshops at the Prime Ministry start tomorrow, Monday, addressing the second executive program for the public sector update roadmap for the years 2026 - 2029, and continue until next Wednesday, with the participation of experts and specialists from both the public and private sectors; to review and discuss the program that will be announced in the coming period.
The workshops will be inaugurated by the State Minister for Public Sector Development, Engineer Badriya Al-Balbeesi, tomorrow, discussing the components of government services and procedures, data and emerging technologies. This will be followed by a session the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, titled "Components of Governance and Regulatory Environment, Human Resources and Leadership, and Organizational Culture", concluding with a Wednesday session on "Policy Components and Legislation, and Spending Efficiency".
The Prime Ministry had held seven discussion sessions to prepare for the second executive program for the public sector update roadmap, in addition to a series of interactive meetings with secretaries and general directors in ministries and government institutions; to discuss their recommendations and proposals to ensure the coherence of the initiatives and goals included in the second executive program for the roadmap.
It is noted that the public sector update roadmap was launched in 2022 and extends over ten years, consisting of seven components: government services and procedures, governance and regulatory environment, policies and legislation, human resources and leadership, organizational culture, data and emerging technologies, and spending efficiency, aiming to achieve an effective and enabled public sector.
