Khaberni - Al al-Bayt University ended the services of a teacher working in the Language Center after she published articles (posts) criticizing the university's policy and its administration.
According to a source inside the university, the teacher was accused in the charge sheet of the following (calling for illegal meetings outside the official channels, inciting workers and the local community against the university administration, and spreading false information and claims on social media and among members of the teaching and administrative bodies).
The committee considered the teacher's posts on the Facebook platform included defamation of the university's reputation, violation of regulations and instructions, failure to comply with her job duties, neglect of the institution's interests, and lack of objectivity in performing her tasks.
The committee recommended in its report imposing a warning as a penalty without issuing a decision to dismiss or end her service as a result of those infringements according to sources inside the university.
According to the source, the Language Center Council decided that there was no need for her this semester as there were only 30 students, a number which does not require a third teacher.
