Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the Anti-Narcotics Department, through their daily efforts to pursue all cases of drug trafficking, promoting, and smuggling, dealt in the past few days with seven significant cases and arrested 13 drug dealers and smugglers in various provinces of the kingdom, seizing large quantities of drugs in their possession.
The spokesperson confirmed that during these cases, a total of 7 kg of deadly crystal meth, 1 kg of cocaine, 253,000 narcotic pills, 92 hashish blocks, 1.5 kg of marijuana, and three firearms were seized after completing the investigations in all seven cases.
Among these cases was a raid and the arrest of a classified dangerous dealer in the central region after monitoring him and gathering information about him, resulting in his arrest with 6 kg of deadly crystal meth and 7,000 narcotic pills in his possession. In the same region and in another case, a wanted and very dangerous armed drug dealer was raided and caught with 23 hashish blocks and 1 kg of crystal meth.
In the eastern part of the capital, two cases were handled. In the first, a drug dealer was arrested after raiding his location, and 1 kg of cocaine, 34 hashish blocks, and two firearms were found in his possession. In the second case, 30 hashish blocks were found with three individuals who were professionally distributing these materials to dealers in the eastern part of the capital, while one case in the southern part of the capital resulted in the arrest of two drug dealers and the seizure of 1.5 kg of marijuana, 1,000 narcotic pills, and 5 hashish blocks in their possession.
At the Jaber border crossing, in cooperation with the Jordanian Customs and security forces, two drug smuggling attempts were thwarted. In the first case, two individuals tried to enter 215,000 narcotic pills through secret compartments inside one of the freight vehicles, while in the second case, three individuals tried to smuggle 30,000 pills with one of the passengers.
