Khaberni - Samsung Electronics announced the beta launch of the ‘Samsung Internet’ browser for PCs, extending the reach of its renowned mobile browser to desktop computers. ‘Samsung Internet for PC’ offers a seamless and interconnected browsing experience across various Samsung devices and marks the initial stages of developing the browser to become a gateway for interactive artificial intelligence technologies within Samsung’s ‘Galaxy’ system.

Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Experience business COO, Won Jun Choi said: "With the expansion of ‘Samsung Internet’ to include PCs, we are pleased to invite users to join us in shaping the future of browsing. The beta program offers a more connected experience between mobile and computer, and paves the way for smarter browsing experiences in the future. Looking forward to the next phases, 'Samsung Internet' capabilities will redefine how users interact with the internet, transforming it from merely a browser waiting for commands on a computer into a comprehensive AI platform that understands user needs and maintains their privacy at every step."

An integrated experience that smoothly connects the phone to the computer

Designed to seamlessly connect mobile devices and computers, ‘Samsung Internet for PC’ allows users to sync browsing data such as bookmarks and browsing history. Personal data is also synchronized with 'Samsung Pass,' facilitating automatic, secure login and form filling across various devices. Additionally, users will now receive notifications reminding them to continue browsing when switching from the phone to the computer, providing a smoother, more connected web experience across devices.

As users increasingly move smoothly between their devices, ‘Samsung Internet for PC’ offers a new level of intelligence powered by 'Galaxy AI,' designed to make the browsing experience smarter and more efficient. By logging into their Samsung account, users can access basic AI features, such as 'Browsing Assist,' which allows for the immediate summarization and translation of web pages, helping them access required information more quickly.

Secure browsing on 'Galaxy' devices

Based on the trusted foundations of privacy and security characteristic of the ‘Galaxy’ system, ‘Samsung Internet for PC’ enables users to undergo a smart and connected browsing experience with complete confidence. The smart tracking protection feature blocks attempts by external web entities to collect personal information, while the 'Privacy Dashboard' allows users to directly view and control their security settings. 'Samsung Internet' is designed to keep pace with the future of browsing, offering a smart, secure, and reliable experience that maintains the highest standards of security and privacy.

A smarter future for browsing experiences

‘Samsung Internet for PC’ will offer users within the ‘Galaxy’ system more varied, smooth, and intelligent browsing experiences. This step represents a new milestone in realizing Samsung's vision for interactive artificial intelligence, seamlessly integrating AI technologies into the details of everyday life. By anticipating users' needs in advance and providing tailored assistance, Samsung lays the foundation for a continuously evolving browser that adapts to the needs of users and their devices.
