AlZaytoonah University of Jordan organizes an introductory meeting for new faculty members

Khaberni - Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan organized an introductory meeting for the new faculty members for the academic year 2025/2026, attended by the university president, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali and Vice President, Professor Dr. Tareq Al-Karm, along with deans of the scientific and humanities colleges, department managers, and several members of the teaching and administrative bodies.

The university president, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, during the meeting expressed his pride in welcoming a new elite of faculty members to the university community, emphasizing that the university relies on their expertise and competencies in enhancing the path of academic and research development. Al-Majali explained that Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan is moving steadily towards leadership through adopting strategic plans based on innovation, quality, and aligning educational outcomes with the needs of the local and regional job market. He emphasized that the faculty member is the cornerstone of this system, and that their role extends beyond the classroom to include contributing to research production, serving the community, and guiding students towards excellence and creativity.

Al-Majali also invited the new faculty members to embrace modern educational experiences, actively participate in development projects, and build an inspiring educational environment that provides knowledge in innovative ways, assuring that the university administration is keen on creating supportive conditions and enabling academic competencies that enhance the university's reputation and status locally and regionally.

For his part, the Vice President stressed the necessity of actively engaging in academic and research activities, and cooperation between the colleges to enhance educational outcomes and keep up with recent developments in various fields. He also reviewed academic and administrative policies that contribute to supporting faculty members and facilitating their tasks.

Moreover, deans of the colleges gave welcoming speeches in which they confirmed their readiness to provide academic and administrative support to the new members, and the colleges' commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that enables them to perform optimally, in addition to highlighting the academic and developmental plans that the university is working on implementing in the coming period.

It is noted that this meeting comes as part of the university's efforts to enhance internal communication, and activate the role of faculty members in supporting the plans of academic development and scientific research in line with the university's vision and mission.
