Khaberni - Sponsored by the President of Arab Amman University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Wadyan, the College of Shari'a, in collaboration with the Dean of Student Affairs, organized a charity bazaar titled: "Basmat Khair", supported by the Love Artery Charitable Society from the local community, held at the premises of Arab Amman University, attended by: Prof. Dr. Ismail Yamin, the President's Assistant for Academic Affairs, Ms. Nadia Al-Qudaimat, the President's Assistant for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Wafa Al-Eid, Dean of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Dr. Kefah Al-Souri, Dean of the College of Shari'a, Mr. Wadah Misammar, Director of Media and Public Relations Department, in addition to a number of members from both the teaching and administrative bodies, and the university students.
The organization of the charity bazaar aimed to support needy students and to enhance the spirit of social solidarity among the university students and the local community. It included a variety of stalls displaying handmade products, traditional and healthy foods, and assorted items at symbolic prices, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting poor students and charitable activities.
During the opening, Dr. Al-Wadyan expressed his admiration for the efforts made to make the event successful, reaffirming Arab Amman University's commitment to support and encourage initiatives that enhance partnership with the local community, and instill values of giving, belonging, and social responsibility among the students. He also praised the efforts of the College of Shari'a and its academic and administrative staff in organizing such quality initiatives.
Dr. Al-Souri noted that the bazaar is part of a series of activities aimed at instilling the values of volunteer work and enhancing the partnership between the university and the local community, and supporting needy students. The bazaar witnessed a wide turnout and significant interaction from students and visitors, creating a positive atmosphere that embodied the meanings of collaboration and charitable work, leaving a lasting impact on all university students.
