Khaberni - Today, Dr. Haifa Al-Kharisha, the Director of Education for Naour District, called on department heads and school principals in the district to intensify field efforts and direct them towards the implementation of quality activities during the School Integration Week, which was launched by the Ministry of Education and continues from November 24 to December 3.
Al-Kharisha emphasized that the Integration Week represents an important opportunity to instill the culture of inclusive education within schools and also enhances community awareness of the importance of providing a balanced educational environment that meets the needs of all students. She stated that “integration is an educational approach we are keen to solidify in our schools, as it ensures promoting equality values and enables students to learn in a supportive educational environment.”
She pointed out the importance of implementing programs and activities that reflect the essence of integration, such as interactive stories, classroom workshops, and activating meaningful activity classes aimed at highlighting students’ abilities, with the necessity of involving parents and the local community in these events to ensure a wider impact.
Al-Kharisha concluded her call by affirming the directorate’s ongoing follow-up of the events in all schools, and providing the necessary support to ensure the success of the School Integration Week and achieving its goals.
