Ashraf Zaki withdraws resignation and reveals truth about Hind Akefs appearance ban

Khaberni - Dr. Ashraf Zaki officially announced his withdrawal from his resignation as the head of the Acting Profession Syndicate in Egypt, after a surprise visit by the syndicate council to his home on Friday afternoon, in a step aimed at supporting him and urging him to continue leading the syndicate during this period.

The council members explained during their meeting that Zaki's continuation in his position is essential to ensure the stability of the syndicate, given his extensive experience and great trust within the artistic community, affirming that he is the best able to unify Egyptian artists, protect their rights, and enhance the professional role of the syndicate.

After lengthy discussions, Ashraf Zaki responded to the council's demands, announcing his decision to withdraw his resignation and continue performing his duties as the head of the Acting Profession Syndicate, pointing out that the substantial support he felt was a major motivation for his decision to return.

On another note, Ashraf Zaki denied recent rumors claiming that the syndicate had banned the artist Hind Akef from appearing or attending artistic events, whether festivals, condolences, or other occasions, stating that these reports are baseless.

For her part, Hind Akef expressed her appreciation for the syndicate and its head, noting that she is part of this artistic entity, and that the relationship between them is based on respect and cooperation, considering that the circulation of rumors harms the profession and creates an incorrect image of the nature of interactions within the artistic community.

These clarifications came after posts spread on social media, claiming that a decision was made to prevent the artist from attending any condolences or artistic events, news that sparked widespread controversy before being emphatically denied.
