Khaberni - Minister of Health Ibrahim Al-Badour inaugurated the Madaba Camp Primary Health Center on Saturday, in the presence of the Governor of Madaba Hassan Al-Jabour and a number of deputies, notables, and members of the decentralization council in the governorate, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing the level of health services provided to the camp's residents.

Al-Badour explained that the health center will be the patient's gateway in the health system, serving as the first line of defense for citizens' health and a fundamental pillar to alleviate pressure on hospitals and ensure access to close, quick, and effective medical services.

He added that this step is part of the Ministry of Health's efforts to implement the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II aiming to improve the quality of healthcare across various regions of the kingdom, by building modern health centers that meet the needs of citizens and provide a suitable environment for patients and medical staff.

He affirmed that the ministry is proceeding with the development of the infrastructure for health centers, replacing rented and dilapidated buildings with permanent facilities characterized by efficiency and sustainability, ensuring a better operational environment and enhancing the level of service provided to citizens within an integrated healthcare system.

The establishment of the Madaba Camp Primary Health Center aims to meet the health needs of the camp's residents, providing effective primary care services including general medicine, family medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, and dental care, along with maternity and child care services, medical laboratory, pharmacy, medical records, and accounting and storage units.

The center, which was funded by the decentralization budget at a cost of 925 thousand dinars, spans an area of 950 square meters distributed over two floors, and serves about 20,000 residents, with an average of 5,000 visitors per month.
