Khaberni - French artist Vanessa Paradis reveals some of her secrets and aspects of her artistic projects and future vision.
This occurred during her participation in the "Mois1 Artiste1" program, which was broadcasted by Nostalgie radio a few days ago, where she opened her heart to discuss the possibility of collaborating again with some of the names that have marked her artistic career, primarily her former partner, global star Lenny Kravitz.
During the interview, the host asked her about a previous statement by Kravitz expressing his desire to work with her again, to which Vanessa enthusiastically replied: "It would be a pleasure, it would be wonderful."
And this statement opened the door to speculations about the return of artistic collaboration between the two stars after many years of separation, according to the French magazine "Pure People."
Vanessa Paradis and Lenny Kravitz met in the early 1990s, specifically in 1991 when she was 19 years old, where she asked him to write and produce an album for her, which resulted in the release of the album Vanessa Paradis in 1992, entirely in English and produced and written by him.
Their romantic relationship lasted six years, and despite its end, both parties maintained a friendly relationship based on mutual respect and esteem, which is evident in their statements over the years.
In a previous interview with the French magazine "Paris Match" in 2009, Lenny Kravitz expressed his feelings towards Vanessa saying: "I am not worried. I know we will meet again one day. We lived beautiful moments and made wonderful music. I am grateful to have lived that story with her."
And he admitted: "Vanessa was the ideal woman, but it came at the wrong time. And I still feel regret."
Despite the years, the friendship between the two stars remains. In a conversation with Harper’s Bazaar magazine in 2024, Kravitz said: "I spent more time in Paris, where I met Vanessa and we made music together."
He noted the depth of the relationship between them, saying: "I love her, and above all, I adore Vanessa. We are close friends, almost like family. We still keep in touch regularly."
This closeness prompted him to buy a house in Paris to be his base during visits to the French capital.
