Khaberni - Today, the Jordanian expert in reptiles and snakes, Ibrahim Abu Al-Harith Bani Yasin, warned Jordanians residing in residential and rural areas about the increased activity of reptiles and scorpions in the coming days, coinciding with rising temperatures and the approaching rainy season.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Bani Yasin explained that these creatures begin to search for warm and dry places to enter into hibernation at this time of year, which leads them to move towards houses, warehouses, courtyards, and fences, especially in open areas.
He urged all citizens to immediately spray the necessary substances and use approved pesticides for combating reptiles and scorpions, in addition to cleaning the surroundings of their homes from stones, wood, and dry herbs which serve as ideal hideouts for these creatures.
Bani Yasin emphasized that prevention is now much more important than later treatment, stressing the need to take preventive measures as soon as possible to ensure family safety.
