In the updated version, the "About" status has become clearer, as it now appears at the top of individual chats and in the user's personal profile, making it easier for others to view it immediately.
Interacting directly with the "About" feature
According to a post on the WhatsApp blog, one of the important additions in the new update is the ability to directly respond to the "About" feature of other users by tapping on the status inside the chat, providing a smooth interactive experience and allowing for immediate conversation without the need to switch between menus.
The new feature comes with an option to set its duration, as the "About" status automatically expires after one day, but the user can adjust the period to be shorter or longer as desired.
To set a specific time, you can go to settings and choose "Set About", then adjust the timer according to the user's needs.
Privacy of viewing "About"
WhatsApp maintains user privacy by allowing to customize who can see the "About" feature. Users can make it visible to contacts only or broaden the visibility to more users depending on privacy settings choices.

WhatsApp confirmed that the feature will be available for all mobile users starting this week, meaning that all users of the app will be able to share their daily moments and interact with them easily and quickly.
