Khaberni - Last night, the Israeli forces issued military orders to seize lands in Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley.
Muataz Bisharat, the official in charge of the settlement dossier in Tubas governorate, reported that the occupation had issued military orders to take possession of privately-owned "Tabu" lands and state lands, extending from Ain Shibli area through Beqa'ot plain southeast of Tubas, and Ainun area near Tubas plain, Yarza east of Tubas, up to the east of Tayasir village.
Bisharat added that the purpose of the seizure is to build a military road from Ain Shibli to Tayasir checkpoint, with the road extending over 40 kilometers.
The occupation continues exaction activities at the eastern entrance of Ain Shibli village, aiming to relocate the Hamra military checkpoint on the road connecting Nablus, Tubas, and Jericho, and bring it closer to the village.
The occupation forces maintain the Hamra military checkpoint at a crossroads that connects cities of the West Bank with the middle, southern, and northern Jordan Valley, serving as a major access point for thousands of citizens reaching their workplaces in the Jordan Valley regions. "Wafa"
